Parental Choice in Education Act +
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
Delay Policy Change
1. Notwithstanding any provision of the Education Act, chapter E-1.12 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1997, no changes shall be made to Department of Education Policy Statement 309, made effective on April 21, 1994, and revised on October 25, 2001, unless
(a) a referendum is held concerning the proposed changes, and
(b) the referendum authorizes the changes.
Commencement
2. This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
